Mr Ghia's first owner Roger, kept a lot of great original
treasures! Just last week, we actually found the cover for when the convertible top is down.
Not only do we have the ORIGINAL window sticker and
receipt for the car when purchased in March of 1965 for just under $2,500, but we also have three original pamphlets any VW
enthusiast would love to have.
The original book on the care and opertaion of your
convertible top that came with the car. (Too bad that didn't help preserve the top!)
A booklet listing all Volkswagen Distributors
and Dealers in North America, printed in November 1964. This booklet lists all VW dealerships in 1964, way too
much for me to add to this site, but if you are interested where the closest VW dealer was to you in 1964, email me and I'll
look it up for you!
Also we have a terrific little guide "What Year
is it?" detailing the evolution of the VW BUG ! This book has great information identifying the key differences in
bugs from 1949 through 1976.
This one, I thought was so useful and informational, that I took the time to
